At the Ohio convention this weekend, JC had one of his newly developed Jake trap. He said the jaw spread was 5" by 5.25". As with anything JC makes, it's top quality. He said he's planning on bringing it out for sale this spring.

Looks like a great trap. JC makes good stuff. Makes me wonder if there's a "Big Jake" wolf sized trap in the works. John Wayne would approve.

Something with 9” jaw spread would be interesting. JC is savvy enough to not label a slightly stronger beaver trap as a wolf trap.

the original Jake was so close to exceeding PA's size limit that it made it tough to risk using here.

Jim will always get an A+ for innovation and providing the industry with yet another great product.
