Dyed 42 MB 450s the original 450 today. I mix 1 bag of red powder with half a bag of genuine logwood crystals. I have found doing this I do not need to wax. Traps hold up well as long as your not using any antifreeze. I just blast them off with a pressure washer when pulled out of service and they hold up quite well for weeks.
