Every deer season my grandpa would cut a tree the last day of deer season.
Thanks for that memory, I sure miss him.

Now days they frown on displaying deer that way after a successful hunt. Might offend some people. crazy
Sure does bring back memories from when I was a kid. Most years we brought back a balsam for a Christmas tree from our land up north as well.


Being old is when you don't care where your spouse goes, just a long as you don't have to go too.

Yup. I read in a NJ hunting reg. paper some time ago. It said when transporting a dead deer, be mindful, tuck its tongue back in and wipe up any blood so as to not shock folks on the road.
Struck me as funny.
