Carlson #4 buckshot choke tube with 3" mangrums is gonna be smoking when I am done. got an extension tube on it now that holds 5 more rounds. I aint playing around with these dang vermins

I have two 870's, both have the same choke tubes from Carlsons and I just got back from Huntsville with another 60 rounds of #4 buckshot and another mag tube extension. doubt it will take that because when the fireworks start its gonna be fast and furious and over in just a few seconds. Kinda like a honeymoon!!

Why do you use #4 buckshot? Penetration of #4 Buck is not good after 30 yards or so. Many hunters here use buckshot for deer hunting. Only newbees use #4 buck. I have skinned deer that were shot with it and survived only to be killed by a car at a later date, pellets on outside of rib bones and shoulder blades. A pig's skin and bones are more stout than that of a deer. 00 buck with less but but bigger pellets (15 in a 3 inch 12 gauge shell) puts a hurtin' on target animals out to 60 yards or more.
because I know what I can do with #4 buckshot and it isnt what you are speaking of in your post above. just like shooting big boar hogs with a 17 HMR, never had one get up from that round but I know where to put it and how far I can use it. I know what I can do with what I use, whatever some numbnut village idiot did wherever, matters not to me.

My son was down there a year ago and they shot a few. He said himself that they stunk so bad he didn't know how anyone could eat them. We have shot wild boar and they were fine.
If your can smell them before your can touch them not worth the effort making the table ready unless you really poor. There's some folks down here who can make the rankest ones tastes amazing but not worth it imo. Also also of it seems to com from people not Killin them right seems every one I've dealt with that got (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) like a deer and was able to run and get all panicked the ones who DRT usually are alot better .. usually
