Thought I'd give you fine folks and update on the cat. Seems to be doing well on a straight Grainbelt diet. Gets kinda grumpy when I'm out of beer. Smash, you'll be happy to hear that it hasn't had any milk, just beer and the bugs it's been killing in the house. I'd like to thank you both for the advice, never thought I'd own a cat but with you y'all's [Linked Image]
advice, little Savell is doing fine.

We have a barn cat the wife adores. My 4 year old grandson absolutely hates cats. I think he won't mind being the hitman on the bobcat line.lol

ADC it’s time to try to transition that cat to canned foods before it gets diabetes. You gotta be patient tho. Can’t force it or they will get hepatic lipidosis

I told little Savell. The cat nodded approval and took another drink.

Sam, I’m with you I’ve always been a dog guy. My daughter caught a kitten in my tractor shed 15 years ago and I let her keep it. That cat has stuck to me like glue since she brought her inside. I can say I’m attached to her. She is currently sleeping in my lap as I type this. Eric

I asked, it doesn't like your idea. lol It eats canned in the morning and dry whenever it wants it. It's nearly 12 years old, our other cat is over 15, it looks like little Savell.

This dang thing has latched onto me too. I keep waking up with it sleeping on top of me, and nearly tossed it across the room the first time. But so far it's not a bad cat, when you stop and consider the fact that it's a cat

ADC try and cut back on the dry food if possible. They don’t need a whole lotta carbs and dry food is loaded with them.

That's all my wife feeds her 2 cats and they are the most obese cats I have ever seen.

A cat needs like seven percent carbs and some dry foods are nearly 30 percent carbs. They have to add carbs as a binding agent to form kibble. Cats don’t need it and they get addicted like most of us. But you can’t force a transition. They will literally make themselves sick due to hepatic lipidosis. Sometimes a transition to a low carb dry food is the ticket first

So does the 3.2 grams of carbs in Grainbelt Premium Light fit these standards Smash? Little Savell is curious.

That cat would make a respectable size hat.
