Figured some of you could use a momentary distraction. I'm not a real logger these will have to do til the real ones come back. Big red oak, hill was extremely steep, roped down what we had to in order to clear a birch then dropped the spar.

wanna come to my country and cut some down, I had reached out to a couple companies and they want 5k a tree LOL. i'm scared of heights but for that price i might just say screw it and do it myself

There was a time, back in my prime when I could really lay them down. To old to travel now, have a wife I love and a couple kids.

Use gecko aluminum spikes. I run stihl 201t top handles, they're definitely the best when it comes to top handles, when you run one every day it's worth the cost. Stihl 201T, 261 & 500i makes up the bulk of our cutting. Husky 592 is our big saw that comes out when we need a bit more bar length.
