Is anyone having trouble?

I tried to email a guy that I usually buy skunk essence from.
Got a funky message on the screen about searching.

I have sent a lot of private mail over the years, so it is not like I have
not done it before.

Anyone?

I tried to send you a test personal message and it says:



If you clear some messages it should work again.

You can only send a limited number of .messages back and forth on a private message thread, so if you have to many on the thread, you may have to start a new one. I have that issue with a lot of people I talk to a lot by private message.

I just did send the Boss Paul a PM about not having Memes get thru that I send by the "E-mail Post" box. He said nothing has changed to cause it that he knows of. It's hit or miss for me.

The last couple weeks my message notification sent to my email ends up in my junk folder.Never seen that before.

Can you post the actual error message you get Mac?

Mine started doing that about 6 months ago out of the blue one day.

email providers like to do that.

Mac, I haven't tried it here but I am getting an error message when I am trying to send a private message on Minktrapping.com. Have you tried it on that website?

I send stuff from the memes thread that just vanishes!

I think Paul mentioned switching to Gmail as the email provider for this forum a few months ago. Email notifications have been marked as spam ever since and I've had to unblock them manually mutliple times even after setting up a spam exception rule in Gmail filters. Lately, however, some of the PM notifications have been failing to arrive at all — they never even make it to the Spam folder, which in my experience happens when Google bots decide that a certain sender is a spammer bot. It happened with my work email once when spammers hijacked some of our academy of sciences mail servers to send spam/phishing letters, and the whole domain of our research center was blocked. Esentially, a certain sender sending out too many automated emails (such as PM notifications) gets marked as spam, especially if any of the recepients accidentally or intentionally click the "mark as spam" button.


It is frustrating.

As far as I understand, the IT guru of this forum should contact the Gmail support team to resolve the issue.

I just sent a post to my email. It went into junk folder. I moved it to inbox. Then I sent myself another post via email and this time it went to my inbox. My email service marks an address as safe when you move something from junk to inbox.

Another option you might try is to add trapperman225@gmail.com to your contacts list.
