I watched multiple videos from a few different angles.

Not your link though.

I’m just happy the FBI is acting like the FBI now not like the previous circus they had going on.

Could be I suppose. Not sure how it wouldn’t have shown up in the videos from his standing around before it how they have it secured. But could have deflected.

It’s also a still shot from the video so could be an optical illusion. Not sure. But possible sir.

It would very tough to hide a vest under T-shirt and not show some kind of bulk let alone a steel plate added to it. Just not buying it.

I watched a play back of it in several views in slow motion, it's clearly a plated protection panel !!

You can see the hit, and you can see the deflection into his jugular, it's clear and can see the plate move around
under his shirt, there is no doubt what so ever about having at the very least a protection plate on !!

The vid looks pretty legit and the guy doesn’t seem like the type that’d doctor it up. Should know soon enough from official channels though.

Watched it a few more times and other videos.

Looks like that is what it did.

Hit the top edge of a plate and deflected.

Good catch PF.

See if they mention it in the official report

You can see his nipples through his shirt in some of the pre-shot video footage.

From a video of him arriving.

Sure doesn’t seem like anything but a t-shirt to me.

It’s much more pronounced in the video which is above my pay grade to share.

He did not have on a protective vest. think about what you are saying, if you have never been a sniper, then you have no idea about why or what actually happened. The shooter was above Kirk, he was at an elevated position and since they are in Utah, a mountainous area, I do not know what the linear or geological declination was from the end of the barrel to the point of impact. If you are shooting from an elevated platform and your target is below you, at a distance of 200 yards, then, the trajectory of the path of the bullet is downward, plus, wind value, plus, elevation, plus declination. he didnt have on a vest. if you have never worn a bullet proof vest then, then how can you put on here that he may have been wearing on. I wore one for over 37 years. He did NOT have on a vest. that what you described is the impact of the bullet and transfer of energy downward as that is the path the bullet trajectory. the outline of his shirt decal is most likely what you are seeing. The bullet struck him in the neck on the left side, severed the corotid artery, probably also severed the top of the aortic arch and most likely exited his body in or around the Latisimus Dorsi muscle. thus the reason for such rapid blood loss and his posturing arms at the time and point of impact from the projectile.

He was dead within a fraction of a second of when the bullet made impact with his neck.

His brain got scrambled at the point the hydrostatic shock and hydrolic effect of the impact blew out the Circle of Willis and his brain stem was detached upon point of impact.

A 30-06 150 grain projectile is hugely significant in both velocity and foot pounds of energy, if that is in fact what this turd used. Betting it was 180 grain or above.

A lot of folks like to speculate but you have never been in these situations, never been trained and never been shot at. Please dont speculate. Because, you flat out have no clue what you are looking at.

and if you want to jump on me about this then list your reason and creds. if not just keep your mouth shut. There is probably only less than a dozen folks on here that know what time of day it is with this scenario. one is a dude from Minnesota if my memory serves me correctly that was a Navy SWCC boat operator. He and I had the same trainer and mentor. apart from that, if you havent been in the fight. dont come on here or anywhere else and make an arse of yourself.

It is very evident for those of us who know.

Thank you well said. I'm no expert but some people just have to try to appear smarter than they actually are.

If I could find that kind of invisible vest with a plate carrier I’d own one of them, it’s the most uncomfortable part of the job the bat belts a close second.
