I had a local welder laminate all my number two and number three Bridgers and Northwoods a few years ago. Having never done anything like that he gave me a very good price and later regretted it.

I can tell you, that those laminations don’t look nearly as good as yours Leftlane. Your traps could serve as the gold standard for laminations.

Eh...wot?

Thanks but some of the credit goes to Uncle Flipper- when I saw the mods he had done I reached out to him about them. He recommended that I get the lam kits JC Conners makes and I am glad I did!

Between the way they fit and Hammer's welding / fab skillz I couldn't be happier!

JC’s lamination kits are top notch and make it really easy for the guy/girl doing the welding I’ve never had a lamination kit that came from him that didn’t fit a trap perfectly. I bend and make my own laminations base plates and what not. But I don’t have jigs and stuff set up to make things for just random different traps so it would take time to do so, but for the most part when doing work for others traps I myself even recommend they get most there modification materials from jc. In the long run if your paying someone to modify your traps it will be cheaper for the amount time saved by them not having to make base plates swivels or laminations. If they just get a box of traps and everything you want done to the trap then there time and labor is just in the welding not making the modification parts wanted on the traps. With so many premium models of traps out there these days modifying your traps or having traps modified by someone has seem to be slowly becoming a thing in past.
