You can wonder all you want. It has to be incredibly low? Please state your experiences with center swiveled #11s and big 'coon that would cause you to draw such a conclusion.

You got me- I have 0 experience with 11s. You the expert, how many times does it happen? Seems to me it can happen with any trap if the stars line up just right.

I’ve ran sleepy creek 11s both single and double jaws the older models were a great trap.
Even held coyotes and beaver by the toes in them. What got in, wasn’t getting out:

Some of the biggest coon I ever caught were held very well in those SC 11s.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

My experience with them…hurt!!! Snapped me good! Had trouble keeping them set once waxed. Powerful lil trap! I actually never used them yet. Although an old timer told me that double longsprings bed themselves . Yet I’m not real sure what that means…

Bed themselves slang for easy to stabilize.
Mine have a link of tire chain around the
frame so they don't count lol.
The coon plays with the springs while he waits.
For trail sets I consider them small.
Sure can appreciate others experiences.

I still want some #2DLS’s.

Stop over cooking your meat! It isn’t gamey, it’s over cooked!

I just found some 2 Blakes.
I might try them in frozen ground fisher.
Allowed a whopping 1 fisher here.

PA is a decent state, but the trapping regs suck a lot.
