And his dad recognized it immediately when the photo was released.

This according to the shooter's texts. Dad was asking where is the rifle.

Thinking on this a bit.

An older M98 mauser sporter hunting rifle. Probably a an older import from the 1960s or older.

Kid with apparently no prior record or institutionization.

Not a "black rifle".

No pistol grip.

No bayonet lug.

No detachable or high capacity magazine.

No magazine button.

Not a ghost gun.

Not suppressor.

No shoulder thing that goes down.

Not as heavy as a pallet of boxes.

Not a single law on the books since the beginning of "gun control" would've caught this one.

Gun control doesn't work, obviously.

Five bucks says the left would try to enact the only thing that could have. Total confiscation with door to door raids.
