Filled my feeder about 8 days ago along with a camera to see what's in the area. Lot of bucks 8 pt, 6 pt and 7pt.. 5 pt. 4 and cowhorn, plus about 7 does and two yearling. Total about 13-14 deer. Should be a great season

Now the the coons have found the feeder. So.today I set a few cage traps. Watch a coon work one and get caught. The others are still there.
Only issue is. When the cage trap went off. The big 8 was standing nearby and about turned inside out getting the heck out of there. He'll be back im sure. Didn't want that to happen. But the coons gotta go.

Hopefully, all the traps are full by morning and I can remove.the traps and let things settle back down.
The.8 point is on the muzzleloader list come October 1st.

Update, cages are filling up fast. One coon left to catch and it looks like he has left the area.
Marshmallows and honeybuns are hard to resist i guess. Saving alot of corn. More for the deer.
