Looking for a/some new trailcams.

Non-cellular
No glow
Video length close to a minute
A rechargeable battery or solar panel would be a plus.

Anyone know if something like this is out there? It seems most are cell cams now.

You can buy some pretty reasonably price rechargeable AA batteries on Amazon. I use some EBL brand 2800 mAh ones in my predator caller and they are very long lasting. So don't let the battery type be much of a determining factor. The only game cameras I have experience with are Wildgame Innovations ones I got for a Christmas gift a million years ago, so I can't help much there.

BROWNING Dark OPS (Sub-Micro series) using 6 AA Energizer Industrial batteries is the only way to go.

We run 75-100 of these units year-round and take many thousands of pics & video. 30-second video will net you best service per SD card and between battery changes...I never use rechargeables.

Tactacam Xpro is the best camera I've used for test sets on coyotes. Only 15 second video but it resets fast and u only miss a few seconds of action. They are cell cameras but you can use them without the cell service just like a normal camera. They are the best I've used at detecting smaller slower moving animals and the best at not spooking coyotes. They are an older model but there's still a few available if u look hard enough. Ive tried the Browning Dark Ops and Spec Ops and their detection system leaves a whole lot to be desired and some of them are failing after 2 or 3 years.

I has pretty much given up on using cameras on coyotes until I used found these cameras.

I just bought 2 from Sportsmans Warehouse for just a shade under a $100 apiece. (Second one was half price). Probably should have bought more while they are available.

I like the Browning Dark Ops or even the older Command Ops as well, but I have a bunch of these and they are a good camera. You can view the images right on the screen and for less than $40 each (including SD Card), you can't go wrong.

This is a brand you probably never heard of but is awesome camera for a decent price. It can be used with a external battery via $5 generic cable from amazon ( I use a old car battery for over a year of power without having to charge it). Ive had trail cams since the first 35mm film cameras were placed in an enclosure. And probably every brand since then. The GardePro takes incredible photos and videos, better than any other I've saw. The camera is a black flash unit that illuminated at least 100' thats totally invisible to game. The flash won the brightest flash contest by Trailcampro website. I bought one last year from Trailcampro last year and love it. The a few weeks ago I bought the same brand from Amazon on sale for $49. Thinking its probably comparable to the one I got last year, only cheaper, and I was correct. I even ordered a second one for my neighbor who did me a favor after seeing it was basically the same camera I bought last year. Check them out, the one I got from Trailcampro is this: https://www.trailcampro.com/products/gardepro-t5cf. One thing about TCP, is if you order a camera and dont like it, they offer a 90 day trial period where you can simply sent it back and get a full refund.

This is the one I bought last month on Amazon and a second one for my neighbor. I see the sale it over but its still a good price and you can add on a 2 yr warranty for about $6

I'll second Reaperman. I to have run cams since 35mm in a can. Gardepro is the real deal. You'll also have many more pics. They're cheaper solar panel seems to keep up in full sun. Sometimes their website has a sale with the solar panel as a bundle. Amazon will get you faster delivery on just a camera.

I ordered the one Lazarus recommended. I may try a Guardpro too.

It is very important for me to be able to record longer videos.

I like the "muddy trail cams" and the stealth cams. stealth cam has some really good deals ALL the time on cell cams and non cell cams. I believe a lot of there cell cams can also be used with just a SD card though
