filed this one About 730 pm on a Friday using silencer shop Single shot trust. was approved today so took 13 days. 9 business days. I posted on a thread I can find I would let them know how long approval times are taking but dont remember what thread that was.

So here it is for any and everyone thats is interested

Edit for those that question why suppressed and why go through the hassle.

This one was bought a silincer co 36m to go on my 15 year olds 350 legend single shot cva. Its a versatile suppressor that can go on anything from 338 lapua down With many mount options. So has a lot of room for future uses.

Yes even with a single shot I prefer suppressed even for just one shot. Its still loud but saves our hearing. Often we can hear the bullet strike the deer even with supersonic ammo. It sounds like an arrow hiting them. the hollow drum sound. I can tell the difference in sounds of shots and know when my kids have made a kill before I get the txt.

Single shots are a great platform becuse they are shorter in length becuse thay dont have the added action length so adding a suppressor often won't add much more length than your standard bolt action with same length barrel. these cvas also break down with no tools just pop off the forearm with recessed lever and break open the action to remove the barrel. makes for easy packing an d transport as well as cleaning.

These wait times have been improving for more than a year.

I ordered one in 2023 that took less than 2 months and there were reports of approvals in days without a trust at the time

You are not kidding. My longest wait was 13 months now down to 13 days. Mayor improvement is an under statement.

I bought my first can a year ago last September. It was through a silencer shop dealer with the kiosk. All electronic paperwork. Submission to approval was less than 72 hours.

I was going to pick it up after work but just got offered an out late so a 16hr shift so it will have to wait tell tomorrow. I have another .22 can paid for waiting on Jan 1 so I dont have to wast 200$ on the stamp but I just mite go ahead and send that in now as well. That one is also for my 15 year old. Need to get his .22 threaded so eas going to wait. He will be caught up with suppressors for his guns with his younger brother. The younger ones guns were bought later when there were more threaded options available so since he had threaded giluns he took to using all may cans thet would work on them. So about everything he shoots is suppressed. Will be nice for them to be even.

Once January 1st hits the wait times are going to go through the roof. They're going to be swamped with suppressor forms.

13 days and a bunch of paperwork is still ridiculous for a firearm accessory.

Absolutely, and made me put it off for years. But in 2011 I sent off my first fourm 4 for suppressor. Sent in several more since then and bad the enjoyment and benefits of using them for 14 years now. and got to shoot and hear In person at least 75 other models shoot. From .22 to .50 cal suppressors. Only thing I can say is I wish I had done so sooner. I love to shoot and shooting supressed is so much more enjoyable. They are like potato chips can't stop at just one.

sneaky I tend to agree wait time will go way back up. and I expect the system to crash. That said I have had over a year wait in the past and waiting on. your first one to come back is the worst. After that you know what its all about and know what your waiting on and obviously feel like its worth it if going through the process more than once. At this point I already have one or more suppressor for things from .22 to 338. so im not chomping at the bit waiting. At the same time fast approvals are so nice I just may send in a few more and eat the cost of the tax stamp. I think i will send in at least 3 fourm 1's in Jan to sbr a couple ar 15a and my Thompson center encore
