Had 1.7 inches today first measurable rain since July 29

It’s been a while here but we got a good soaking the previous days. Sounds like the food plots in MO had some helpful rains also.

Were still praying for rain here. Drought is extreme. Every other person I know is having well problems

We had some sprinkles today. We haven't had much rain for a while now. Things were getting dry.

Funny, we're having a record draught in atlantic canada in Nova scotia as well as nearby provinces. We're known for being wet more often than not and now we can't grow our corn or graze cattle.

Weve got rain weekly all summer. Its perfect.

We have been getting hosed on since Wednesday. Took the opportunity of being inside this weekend to start four gallons of sauerkraut, pickled salmon, and high bush cranberry ketchup.

This is the driest my farm has been since moving here in 2012. We are supposed to have 6 days of rain this week, starting yesterday. Many trees are bare of leaves and the grass turns to dust as you walk on it.

It's been raining most of last week here. I have to cut my grass twice a week. But, no rain in the forecast for the next 7 days according to the weatherman.

not much here in central IL - just sprinkles. I don't know when the last time we got it was. The creeks are all dry now.

We are getting a nice, medium low, steady rain, that's lasted much of the day. We need many inches of rain right now. We had a strong wind come though yesterday evening and many of the trees are completely barren.

I went out during a break in the rain and collected 3 gallons of heartnuts, close to 3 gallons of named cultivars of black walnuts, some hazel nuts and a lone butternut.
