How many of you catch skunks with an 100% white tail? I haven't seen any here?

Full white is pretty random, like most every other skunk pattern. Least for the skunks is my area.

That’s what he’s been paying he said that right off that’s not a change. I sold to him early on and averaged $50 a pelt I can live with that.

Got a smaller one for here this morning the tail was black with white in the middle more it was very fluffy but not white. I’m curious what it’s worth.

The change is the summer/early ones aren't wanted now and the grade will definitely tighten.

5-10% are going to fall into the Selects and I's, and the rest are going to fall into the II's or no value.

I've averaged $20 for skunks the last few years no matter how much white is in the tails. I can't believe that they would now have " no value". Maybe no value for the Jewish hat market, but that's not the only market

The saying I often heard in the UP was, “I’m not trapping beaver until they are a buck an inch again” came across that line several times when I was up there.

^^^^yep, my dad used to say that in the summer, but every season we would end up trapping haha
