I will use your knowledge you passed on to me on your old stomping grounds. I will set some traps for you out on the Ivan River (creek really) for otter. I will catch some Marten around Mt. Susitna. I will use your knowledge to fool the really smart single wolfs running up and down the Talkeenta river. And a huge thank you for spending a lifetime taking such great care of all the animals you have caught. You have been a man to look up to and try to copy. I have approx. 150 footholds set up with your shock springs and drag set up. Thank you for all the wildlife pictures you shared with us all. When you were really trying to get us trappers to get along better. I will set some wolverine traps at the Nelchina Glacier for you and maybe go to trap the Kenai river again.

Thanks for the great books you wrote. Thanks for the awesome knives you made me! I cherish them!

Best memory EVER - that California bobcat pelt Gary brought back in 5 pieces. After several spools of thread and who knows how many hours, you turned that into a $300.00 pelt. Only you could do that.
