Although God knows the final outcome because He is omniscient. He provides plenty of opportunity in a lifetime for us to choose. We're not omniscient , with the exception of the white female liberal, so we have no excuse for rejecting the Almighty and the consequences that come with it.

Because I do not believe that the action of non-belief should be punished by eternal damnation.

Many such people are simply unwilling to surrender their will to a power greater than themselves. One close family member drank himself to death in despair because he couldn't control everything.

Some, sure. But some are the best people you'll ever meet....... much better people than many so-called Christians. One of them is on this post!

The person I'm talking about was one of the most generous people I've ever known, but he couldn't let go of things that didn't go his way.

I hope he's in heaven. It's like God reached down and took him.

Wouldn't that make you God? I didn't write the rule book I just believe in to be true.

I guess you can see it that way if you want. Guess what I am saying is... if the Bible is the Gospel... and God will send people to eternal suffering just because they do not believe in him, then I don't believe that is a God I wish to worship. One of his own disciples didn't believe in Jesus' resurrection until he touched the nail holes in his hands. I guess if Jesus had not came back to his disciples in visible form, Thomas would also be burning in hades too??

The Apostles who walked with Jesus continued to spread His message and almost all of them gave their lives (willingly) for their beliefs.

Separation from God Is being in (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) by itself. Like streets of gold I believe it may be a metaphor. It was just pointing out wht you think is valuable on earth will not be valuable in heaven. So the despair of being Separated from God could be worse than being in a lake of fire. But im no biblical scholar.

The world was perfect untill sin entered and crupted it. Its all part of free will. Believe or don't its your choice. I also question the who gets chosen to have their hearts and minds opened and who gets turned over to reprobate mind.

But I didn't make the rules. I just kep trying to not break them and failing and I keep trying to do better . Good news is I'm forgiving. Not becuse I earned it or by being a good person Im not. No amount of works will be enough. Its only because I have chosen to accept the freely given gift of Christ sacrifice by believing in him his perfectly lived life and he was beaten, humiliated, Nailed to a cross suffered and died rising on the 3rd day,, paying the penalty for the sins of those that choose to accept him.

I
see the problem. You think some people are better than other people. Nope, that's just perception, in reality, we all suck.

Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

PaSkinner, if you think Billy Graham and Jeffrey Dahmer are on the same level, then I cannot even carry on this conversation with you.

Which one was better? Because Billy would agree with me.
Degrees of sin are just our finite human perception faking us out.
