2 mile morning walk with wife, clean rat poop out of box stand and get it ready to hunt for saturday, weed eat path to stand, cut some pecan wood for smoking and cooking fires, put new pto shaft on tractor, pick and cut up apples for wife to make apple pie, grill some steaks over open pecan wood fire for wife, daughter, and two grand daughters, cook some smores, go to bed

Work on a riding lawn mower, Cub cadet ltx 1046 (electrical problem) and a Troy built roto tiller (carburetor)
Then to the Department of Motor Vechiles to renew license
Check woodchuck traps
Pick tomatoes
Shoot the bow
Make venison taco salad for dinner

Woke up at 0210, couldn't fall back asleep.
Was going to go crabbing, but feeling lazy now.
Just put another pot of coffee on.

Do some recording to post on my channel.
Finish cleaning up around the barn.
Breakdown an old chicken coop.
Set up a bait test.
Shoot 100 rds.
Put blades on the mower.

Not necessarily in that order.

Laminate a couple of reception desk walls.
Clean the church.
Maybe go watch a high school football game.

Well, i'm way behind on planned work so trying to finish a job, so I can go do other jobs i'm late on, to get caught to do other work before it snows (fingers crossed)

Then, i'll be way behind on house chores and prepping traps. I'm barely set up for early season hunting and though I found bear scat and trail hoping to snare a bear and fresh sign of a big buck, all I have at my apples are a skinny doe and fawn sucking back apples 24/7.

After first light do my daily 5 mile walk.

Hit the gun range for a couple hours.

Spend some time throwing for muskies.

Sit in my bear stand from 4pm until end of shooting hours.

Bills and invoicing as soon as I finish on Tman. Then over to an old farmhouse I’m remodeling for my youngest. Then a birthday dinner for my granddaughter.

Skunk market is warm and I have a week off, set traps, run bear baits, help a high fence operation with a pig problem, and mess with horses.

Going fishing for a few hours this morning. Homecoming game tonight. Plenty of work to do around here in between.

Getting my garlic bed ready for planting. Hard to believe already thinking of planting for next year.

Un-swamping a 15hp honda.

Found out it is for-sure too big for the 19' grumman canoe. Tried to remove weeds from the prop while leaning over the back and my dog decided to try helping. Flipped us in the middle of a bog channel about at 4 mile paddle back home.

Heading over to the NC convention. I'm taking a big pot of beaver stew and a salmon cheese ball for the dinner this evening.

Got up and am drinking coffee by 5am. Run the dog briefly before work to get her a little exercise. Go to work. Phone took a crap last night and doesn't work at all. Probably should go to Verizon after work but I think I'm just going to enjoy the phone-less weekend and hopefully nobody needs to get ahold of me.

Bat job, beaver job, check woodchuck job, possibly pick up venison kielbasa and hotdogs at butcher if it's ready. Mess around with my walk-in cooler AC, I broke the temp sensor.

I gotta work rooms today instead of being in the office cause one of the kids called off. So I’ll have an extra backache like Vinke.

I get to go to dialysis and sit for 4 hours getting my blood cleaned, what a blast. Afterward thogh I plan on doing a bit of fishing before heading home. Two hour drive each way, but at least it's through the hills and over a pass,

Moving wood to the boiler for the winter months I will split some good stuff and bury it in the piles so I get to it midwinter when it’s more efficient. If I hit hornets again some of it might have to wait them suckers hurt. LOL I’ve been breaking out in hives after getting all those chigger bites I’m thinking hornets stinging me won’t help any.

Make some green tea, work on building more shelfs for daughters mouse building and move them from the barn to the mouse shed. Run a check list with the boys for their hunting stuff for the weekend. Then off to work at 5 for 12 or 16 hr shift.

Edit. Firar thing was take trash up the boys missed for trash truck, then trip to feed store for rabbit chicken feed and a boot dryer. Now off to work on the rest.

Caught a wood chuck that had burrowed under the house foundation this morning. Still cutting buckthorn in the woods.

Local VFW gathering after.
Having never been in the military I was very impressed with the VFW services supplied for the fallen service members.
They have just become very high on my donation list.
Right up there with the local Community Centers.
My sister and I have decided to donate any money we might receive from the funeral donations.

I feel they really are a good organization.

This morning I went and collected heartnuts and a single black walnut. I came back home and ate pulled pork barbecue on a pretzel bun, Diane made.

I'll go out and feed and water rabbits next and look for new kits. I have 6 first time bred, white New Zealand does that should be kindling. They were a little young, so they might not take.

Then I'll move some elderberry bushes and Haskaps/honey berries in pots.

Then I'll collect black walnuts on my farm.

This evening I will load my trucks with plants and nuts to sell tomorrow and the gear I use.

Then I'll feed and water the birds in my front barn, two dogs and collect quail eggs.

Tomorrow, my partner and I are selling at a chili cook off.

Harvest the last of the peaches.
Cut up and start tainting beaver meat for bobcat bait.
Start putting the garden to bed for the winter.
That's a full slate for me.

Working on a tractor tomorrow--need to get it running pronto!

pick up a half a beef I bought from a local farmer in the morning . . workout with the boy . . tinker around at my trout pond . . watch the Penn State-Oregon football game with the boy tomorrow evening

I picked peppers to sell too. There's Sweet Banana, Hungarian Hot Wax and Lady Bell.

04:30- 09:00 pull a goose spread out of a hay field and set another one in a silage feild and do some hunting.
09:00- 11:00 cut willows and some Johnson grass to cover some blinds for next weekends duck opener.
11:00- ??? help an ol' timer up river split up a bunch of red oak for his wood shed.

Hopefully there's enough daylight to run the setter pup and cook out with MotherChukar afterwards.

On a Friday? Work, it’s always work. Working again tomorrow too.

I am off on Sunday, then will be working 12 days straight.

Setting a ground blind and a ladder stand. Two young grandsons gonna “help”.

Went over to the Deerfield Fair today...and watched my son show his Oxford Sheep.

There were ovah 400 head of sheep in the baahn.

All different breeds ...a great turn out .

And he did win Supreme Ram today...with his Oxford Ram Lamb.

( Best Ram in the Baahn ) ...he placed well with his ewe lambs too
