I know I posted this before when this dove first set the nest. Thought it seemed kinda late for here. Who knew. Guess she pulled it off little ones look close to flying. Going to have to watch next couple days when let dog out the door she is nested by. If them litteone are on ground. Pretty sure the pup will have them before they know to move.

Mourning doves are very fecund. The eggs hatch in 15 days and the babies leave the nest at two weeks of age. The adult mourning doves usually lay 6 or 7 clutches of 2 eggs a year. Pairs will usually produce 12 to 14 squabs a year.

Yep pigeons and doves if it wasn’t that they were such bad nest makers they would be all over the place in high numbers
