I was the captain of the rifle team in my high school in Rhode Island in 1971! We won a national championship. There were gun clubs with indoor ranges all over the state at that time. Not any more. Sure glad I escaped from southern New England 50 years ago.

I graduated in 1981 and always had my Browning 270 win. during rifle season in my back window of my truck at school. It was still very common even in the early 1980's

Graduated in 90'. We had a highschool trap team and those on the team kept their guns in their vehicles during school hours. Our history teacher was the coach and he would reload for a bunch of us to keep costs down. Handed out the shells the last period of the day. LOL Glad I graduated when I did.

I spent the 5th grade in Costa Rica. Every Thursday it was "bring your machete" to school day. We had to mow the lawn.

My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

use to hunt to school, unload my gun at the schoolyard fence, put it in the corner behind the teachers desk, hunt home after school. That was 1970.
