same as well to do folks who go hunt missouri or ohio and shoot average bucks for those areas and show off the racks in wv like they accomplished something, yet they never legally kill a good buck here at home.

Three things:

I couldn't care less how people "hunt". I don't respect a lot of it, but whatever. I'll hunt and trap how I choose.

All TV hunting personalities are unwatchable by me. It's staged, hokey and about selling crap. It's also bad for hunting, but again, whatever. I just won't watch.

What's up with the two all-talk guys down in Texas posting here about interning illegals and shooting them? Did the drunks start early yesterday?

My step brother knew a cameraman’ that worked either for him or his brother Allan and he said both of them behind the scenes are not very nice people at all ! Seems to be a common thing with a lot of the celebrity hunters. Not all of course.

I do not care, but I notice it. If they shoot from the road here, do they not do it there?

Speaking of high fences, I was listening to a Shawn Ryan podcast with Nathan Apffel. Nathan is a guy who exposes the evil in bad mega churches.

He told the story of how he got into Kenneth Copelands estate. He had made it through two gates and started looking around seeing all these huge bucks. Being a hunter he looked for a possible tree stand. He found an elevated ground blind near one of the gates. So apparently Copeland not only need a G5, he also needs to import and shoot giant bucks on his high fence property.

I can see high fence for handicapped and terminally ill but not for able bodied folks. And as far as I am concerned, people who hunt high fence are not able minded either.

As long as there’s high fence ranches they’ll be a need for coyote killers. I make a good portion of my living going inside those pens and doing what others can’t.

I dont have a problem with fencing in cattle or deer. Makes it easier to butcher when your ready. I dont care if someone shoots a tame deer and brags about it. You would need rocks in your head to believe anything on tv.

It is never not funny to see someone begrudge someone for exploiting technology advances to be better at their craft. Unless you are hunting with a rock or sharpened stick, you need to let it go.

I don’t have the money it takes to hunt high fence areas. If I was crazy rich maybe. It wouldn’t seem to be the same challenge as low/no fence areas but could be.

Same argument could be made for private land.

The only true equality is hunting public land where everyone has to deal with the same variable.
