Well for the second time this year i won a gun . Every year we have two sportsman bashes at our firehouse, one each march and one each september. Last march i won a 6.5 creedmore and yesterday i won a browning hunter 6.5 crp. I had never won in 24 year of buying at least two tickets every event. This is our biggest fundraisers every year. Next week we will be planning for next march . Im ready to get planning.

We have participated in our FD sportsman’s bash for years as well. I have won twice, probably 10 years apart.

Wytex I really dont know the differance between the two guns and will just pass them on to my son ,< who knows > The first one has never been shot and is still in the gun safe . I have so many guns that came from my brothers wife that i just pass them on to my son and grandsons when they get old enough .

I never won a gun my wife bought a charity raffle ticket and won a 204 Ruger congrats on your good luck.

My youngest brother won a .22 Hornet at VFD gun raffle this year, and 2 rifles last year.

Dave you are due . I was that way in around 1968 i won a roserie <spelling> at our church . That was it until last march. and yesterday. But i support a lot of local charities when i can .

Wife won both door prizes at a horse {yes horse} party last week.

Guy that used to make our clam rakes also had a small gunshop in the front, he had a raffle for a Rem, BDL in 243....so I bought one ticket...2 years later I get a call saying I won the raffle, took that long for him to sell enough tickets, lol...

Only thing I ever won except the last year of the draft lottery...#1 !.....

You sound like my lucky wife. Last year she won a choice of new firearms in a TIP banquet. She didn't know what to choose, so being the gentleman that I am, I picked a scoped Savage 6.5 Creedmoor. I never took it out of the box. This year she won a $500 gift certificate to a gun shop.

We made a trip to the gun shop to see what they had. I have been looking for years for a used Winchester 101, but never could find the one I wanted at a decent price. Lo and behold, the gun shop had one in like new condition for $850. I traded in the gift certificate and the Creedmoor and got back $23 which I used for some 357 ammo. I love my wife!
