So, I scored a bunch of pheasants from a local tower shoot.

I plucked them for the feathers and cut the carcasses into big chunks for cage trap bait. I also took the breast meat & leg meat to grind up into some dirt hole bait. I have a bottle of Night Owl bait solution to use. My question is should I taint the meat or not? and do I need to add anything else to the bait solution? '

Thanks
Mike

Mike, The short answer is yes taint the meat. Follow instructions on the Bait Solution. Quick and easy way to get started with a Fairly good bait.

You will not learn very much when using a bait solution. Because the ingredients are unknown to the purchaser? If you want to learn more? Try making your own bait solution! Keep notes on everything. Sun rendered oils are a good bait ingredient.
