Been needing to rebuild it for year's now.
Finally got to it, springs and pins weak or broke.
Not bad for 45 plus year's old cause it still would lift, but
needed to hold pins in when jacking.

So jack and tire chains ready for hunting and trapping. [Linked Image]

Other jack is still good, the bar is a little bent is all.

I've got one that belonged to my granddad. Comes in handy sometimes, but you sure need to be careful with them!

Yes they can be a dangerous tool, use them more to break beads on rims and tires than anything.

I hate factory screw jaws more than anything, seems when I get a flat it's always muddy.

Thanks Mark, td1 got the one I rebuild from a farmer for free when cleaning up scrap
Metal he said it was from the it's or so.

It’s amazing what you can move with a couple of those jacks and a bunch of fence posts.

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

Nice work on the rebuild.

I had one and threw it on the scrap pile and sold mine a few years ago.

Nice to see someone rebuild and use a mans tool.
I picked and saved a couple.
Bet they have value as decoration
to modern off roaders.
The shipping may be a little steep huh.

Spray it good with WD-40, they can get gummed up to with to much lube and dust.

Had one when I was kid, it went up but not down so I just had to turn it sideways and let the truck drop after I was done working on it. lol

I used mine to jack up my 8X14 fish house off the ice. I love it. Never had any issues with it.

My wife says my housekeeping style is best described as, "There appears to have been a struggle."

Been using them as long as I can remember. Got me out of a lot of jams in places I probably shouldn’t have been but went anyway. Any other kind of jack is pretty useless in a couple feet of snow.
