Just popped it in the DVD player. Lots of characters to get attached to. Certainly not the old one but man I love Barbara, she’s one tough cookie!!! And that Ben is a good guy!! And the movie has strong roots in my region. The cats are fast asleep so they won’t get scared

My old boss, his sister was married to George Romero, who was the man behind the movie. Romero was a Carnegie Mellon guy. Some of my boss’s family had roles in the original and the sequels. The opening cemetery scenes were filmed near Evans City, about 12 miles SW of me. Loved the cameo by Bill Cardille.

Night of the Living Dead was a ground breaking movie, leading the way for a lot of other horror flicks in the years to come.

( I don’t let my cats watch these kind of movies either )
