Review. $80.00 on Amazon

Received today. 10/1/2025
Very well made but made in China.
Charging lights takes 2.5 hours.
Needs to be paired between lights and power at trailer plug at the vehicle.
Battery use good for 9 hours on taillights since not powered. Not able to remove batteries.
Magnetic base and very strong.

Observation.
1. All components are vulnerable for walking off. So as an back up set up it's really good. Nice kit well made.
2. Keeping the batteries charges is a problem as an backup kit though. USB port to charge the batteries but has a splitter so both lights can be charged at the same time.
3. For my crew having the batteries ready when needed I don't think it would happen.
4. As a personal backup it would be good where under your own control.

Conclusion.
a. I am going to look for ones that have batteries that can be replaced. Having hot batteries and install when needed.

Yeah I didn't think about brakes either. Trailers I might need them for most don't have brake or only have surge brakes. Only Trailer I tow with electric brakes. I have moved it in I think 3 years now?
I guess if you tow alot of trailers with brakes. Might br good idea to have second plug wired in somewhere out of the way. Put your wireless unit in that plug. That would allowed main plug for trailer plug in event that is not the main lighting issue??

Hey Mac

That's exactly what I was thinking, 2 receptacles!

I actually seen it suggested in reviews I was reading online. Person suggesting it wasn't even thinking or mention needing brakes. They were concerned with keeping the sending unit out of the weather. Also making it not so easy to be walked off with.

My oldest son is a plumber and he bought a set to put on an old trailer he was hauling his new mini X on. He said they worked really good and he was happy with them until somebody relieved him of them in a store paking lot one day. He bought a new trailer so he doesn't need them now.
