I drilled a couple holes and ran my paste baits with no lure or urine to see what kind of response i would get
using a camera is new to me so with my sons help ive been trying to figure this camera out i have always seem to have luck blending at least 2 bases to make one paste bait like beaver and weasel muskrat and rabbit or cultured egg and skunk [Linked Image]

Well made cultured egg has always been one of my favorites. It has always had aggressive response as a stand alone and when blended with other materials.

Looking good Bob, especially when they bury their whole head. Looks like you'll put bracelets on a few of them this year.
I've never used cultured egg.

Wow, those are great pics. Must have done something right.

Good Stuff BL !

The key for me was to snag Wile E. before he goes to digging.

Odds of a catch seem to plummet once the excavation begins.

I found that certain setups & hole sizes produced a lot more coyotes than others.

Mr TEJAS i wouldnt get hung up on just making hole sets for every hole set i would make at least 2 scent posts especially in your part of the country my oldest boy works the border and was in Uvalve for sometime near the Rio
and he would set the 2 tracks trails that cut up your bush country he did well on yotes using just urine and quality gland

I had no doubt you keep them guessing Sir!

It made me think back when you mentioned the small quarter sized test hole.
Double 1.5” punch holes caught two to one over any other hole set I tried down here on the border.
That look was a top producer on remakes too.

Your Son’s results reflect mine as well. The flat is hard to beat in the land of cactus & mesquite.

You folks up there must be some tough Hombres having to face the temps and conditions in your neck of the woods!
I cannot imagine trying to keep sets running in those conditions.
I bet it is no picnic.

Good Luck this fall BL!

Hammer 'em Bob! Let us know how the stuff pans out as the cold moves in.
Will you/do you add any "kickers" to it in the cold weather?

its funny you mention about kickers i use what just about everyone uses in Dec a good shot of clean tinctured quill but i have the most luck with a cream i make from channel cat fish its a by product of sun rendering for fish oil this stuff without a doubt one of my favorite additives
when you put it on anything the only way it will come off is getting chewed off it doesnt blend in a water base just oil base no where near as loud as skunk but one heck of a kicker and i would suggest getting it in a hole the stuff is dynamite
