…. I haven’t trapped that place in a few years … it’s too far out of the way … right on the Louisiana border

…. It’s too far away from my main place …. I have a limited window to trap and can’t cover it

…. They try to trap it themselves but they appear to be leaving a few lol

Got it.
I have a few of those places where the TROPHY deer hunters are killing coyotes with thermals now.
So far I haven't seen any evidence of traps besides the occasional dp set near a barn.

… another issue I had with that place was they were guiding Yankees on hog hunts half the night while traps were out …. Not only was that interrupting coyote behavior… I had to stay in camp with those obnoxious sob’s lol

Savell..you do realize that not everyone from Louisiana fits that description. There ain't any coonasses in this part of the state..unless they are passing through or working up here or something. I'm sure you know this but I suspect that most of the folks that think all of us go everywhere in those pirogues..paddling through the cypress trees and such...have no idea that the biggest industry in the upper art of the state in pine timber. And those don't grom too well in water.
Anyway..back to my rant..them folks don't live in the biggest part of the state. Mostly the south-central portion and Avoyelles Parish for some reason. Oddly, each area will differ in the ways they cook too. Some use lots of spices. Others seem to cook in a gravy more
