Very nice looking bear , what did it square out to be ?

As for the ivaries I agree with Brian I probably couldn't afford them or it would be against the law , I've got some elk ivories to possibly offer in trade ?

You're friend along the snare line .

I see where you can buy the teeth for $200. per two. So some money to be made there!

Good deal! That's something that I've always dreamt of doing. I hope you don't mind me asking, but what does a hunt like that cost?

Good job, Wag. How was the weather? Been some nasty storms in that part of Alaska this year. Horrible in my old stomping grounds, so maybe the worst was south of you?
Those orca teeth are something. The root is bigger than the exposed part, and they are impressive! I knew a Tlingit in Juneau that wore one on a necklace that he had scrimshawed. It was very cool, but I couldn't imagine wearing that thing on my neck all day!
I bet Newhouse 114 is drooling!

Just doing what I want now.

$23,500, and I'm on the cheaper end of the range.....probably the cheapest, come to think of it.

I’ll never be able to go on a hunt like that but have read many books and dreamed of it since I was a kid. Who knows one day maybe but time and my health is catching up to me. Plan on doing a nice black bear hunt soon though.
