Some might say that it makes no sense with the different seasons but this is WA where making sense is basically non existent about a lot of things.

If hunting bobcats season opens 1 Sept and end 15 March
If trapping season open 1 Nov and end 31 March
Yes that means I can shoot one in Sept but can't trap one until Nov and can only use live cage type traps

Neither method has a limit on number that can be taken (YET)

With both methods the hide must be sealed with a WDFW (Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife) seal

With both methods the successful hunter / trapper must submit (give up) the cleaned and dried lower jaw to WDFW for supposed "aging" of the Bobcat.

In WI you have to draw a tag which supposedly takes 3-4years but I know many that waited longer. The far North has lots of bobcats so it’s waisting a resource, but then what do I know.
