gcs trapper G Joined: Dec 2006 South shore L.I.	Wow....turkeys here seem to "shed" or lose length on their beards...is that common? Ive had numerous male turkeys coming through the place, same ones, and the beards never seem to get long...

They can wear away length, health conditions can create weak zones in the beard as it grows out like hair these weak spots can then break off.
