Cam has a orthodontist appointment today so I took off the day, however had the morning free and it was the 1st cool morning. So me and dad went out see what we could get.


We got off to a good start, time to pile some in the freezer so we can have our big squirrel fry!!

Catch the fox in walnut trees. The bottoms we hunt are loaded.

Good deal! I cut my teeth on fox squirrels, and I sure do miss hunting them.

Good to know! We only have a couple walnuts on our property but I'll look for some next time I hunt public land

How many young ones?

Clay, only 2 were old. Not that it matters I pressure cook before frying so all is tender. But was surprised how many young ones we got. Also left just as many in the woods and the seen us and made there escape before we can get to them

Greys are my favorite, more of a challenge.
