I've learned that site location is critical. Be it your access direction, wind direction and having different stands
on each site helped me hunt multiple wind direction. Also I noticed the bears seemed to use a lower ground to approach so the thermals carry your scent to the lower ground.

Question Bernie. I either had the sows come in or Boars come on any night. Never both. Which sex drives this.

Here is a picture of the sow with 3 cubs. I think she is huge.

I think this is a picture of the bear I killed. Both pictures were taken 5weeks ago. He also ate the camera.

Sows will generally avoid the bait when the boars are around, because bigger males will eat cubs when they have the chance. But I have seen times when an aggressive sow will take over the bait and the males will just move on because they get sick of being harassed. Guess they don't like the female drama.
