I am glad you like the art, and it arrived safely to you, Savell. I felt this cat just needed to be in your home rather than living in my file folder. After all, art is to be enjoyed .

This cat was originally made to be on the cover of Blackie's Blend lure catalog. It looked great and Blackie was happy. Another time, the image was used to garnish a story in FFG magazine.

It isn't often I see cats that resemble leopards or jaguars . I was thankful that Savell granted me permission to do the portrait of his fine Texas catch.
