For those who run Dans Froglegs, which boots did you choose & why? I’m looking for some real world reviews before I place an order.

When I was still coon hunting I had a pair of Dan's on Muck Boots.
Should have never strayed from Lacrosse.
The Froglegs were fantastic. Muck Boots I didn't like. JMHO

I bought a pair of Dan's on Lacrosse boots. I still have the Lacrosse boots... the Dan's chaps lasted 2 months.

So to answer your question.... Lacrosse. They will outlive your shoddy chaps by years if not decades.

I have always got dan's with Lacross boots and have no complaints ,this will be the third year with my currant pair .

When I coon hunted a lot I had Wicks chaps on Lacrosse boots and you could t wear them out. When he went out of business I bought a pair of Dans on Lacrosse boots and they wear total junk. I’ll never buy another pair of Dans

I sure wish John Wick was still in business.

I still have a flannel/gortex lined jacket from Wick that was my go to jacket for almost everything.
It's still in great shape too.
But I also put grew it for about 10 years. After loosing 80+ pounds I can now wear it again.

I have had good luck with the Dan's boots. Wear them from water trapping to land sets

I have the Yoders brand with Muck boots. They stayed dry for about 8 years. Wont get the Lacrosse anymore since they changed the ankle fit. For me, they are anything but ankle fit.....they are floppy/sloppy for me. Obviously , everyones foot and ankle are different and they may be great for some....

I’m on my second pair of Dans, just got these this summer. So far so good, I was trapping small creeks this summer. They fit good and I’m always on the husky side. Wife says thick ankles.
