You need to take Clay up on his offer. You'd be hard put to find a better fur handler

I’d take the Havalon over a beaver knife because I’m knife sharpening challenged but I can change a blade like a pro. I use wire hoops they take up less space, shape the pelts for me and dry with no issues never had any complaints using the hoops. A sharp fleshing knife is a must and well curved beam to go with it.

NO! NO! NO! Do not pay attention to this lunacy! Law Dog is removed from my last will and testament.

You can't skin beaver with a tiny toy. Don't try unless time is not an issue for you.

My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

Well young Coon Catcher came to my place Sunday and we put up 3 beaver and a big otter. Fine young man who definitely has a passion for the outdoors.
Young man, if you read this, I meant what I said about coming back this winter with some of your fur.
You’re welcome anytime I’m working fur.

I don't know if you have a Habitat for Humanity ReStores by you but they sell nails for $1.75 /lb. with nails going for $8 some nice 3" box nails are usually in stock there. I always have to close my eyes when I walk through to keep from buying more!
