Anybody have owned one for a good while?

I recently bought a stonewall skinner from MKC.
I used it very little but it feels very well made.
I have cut many pieces of paper with it and some meat.
It is the most expensive knife I've ever bought.
MKC picked or offered a discount code to previous purchasers of their knives 20% of in stock knives.

Should I buy another? I would like to.

Help yourself.

Have the Speedgoat 2.0. Used it on a mountain goat with a super dirty hide, and it still has a sharp edge. Seems like very high quality steel.

Behring Made operates out of Montana and makes some mighty purty knives, although a bit out of my price range at the moment.

Just looked one today, when we where in town.
Look very well made, and sharp as can be.

I don't need more knives, but that can change.
I seem to break or loose them. laugh

Wife was with me, might get one Christmas.

Let me sugar coat this

I got a 5 gallon bucket full of knives . Art cost big money . Unless you are in some trade where you use them MANY times dailey . Ones like Victronox are plenty good .

I picked up the new Chopper and have put it to use. Very sharp and slices through 1/2' brush with ease.

Help yourself.

I’ve heard the speed goat is a decent knife. I don’t own one yet.

I say, if you like them, buy another. Can never have too many knives.

Stop over cooking your meat! It isn’t gamey, it’s over cooked!

I have not heard anything bad about them and they are a small, American company so that is a bonus.

I don't own one but have considered buying one.

OP if you want another one then buy one, don't think you can go wrong

I have a few...

Mini Speedgoat - Carry it daily
Jackstone - Use it to skin beaver and general deer knife. Probably one of my favorite knives I own
Flathead Fillet - haven't used it yet
Beartooth Skinner - Tried it on beaver, way too big
Triumph SL - keep it on my chest rig or bino harness
