Guys, is there a way to order replacement springs and is there a method to replace the springs on dogproofs.
I
Was mortified today… going through traps and getting them ready and I noticed one of my barrels that had my dogproofs, somehow leaked water in and I’ve got some serious rust going on..
It feels like the springs may have lost some of their strength.
I’m going to take them to the car wash tomorrow and pressure blast the rust off.. and see what they look like.
Being inside a plastic trash barrel must have been the perfect environment for rust.

What brand of dog proof?

Just remember, the bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Most of them are dukes,, some freedom brand , my diablos and my lil griz seemed to have avoided getting the brunt. I took them to the car wash today and washed them off… tomorrow after church I’m gonna go through them and set them to see if they are still good.
