Has anyone ever used those foam pads under their trap pans. I think they are called underalls. If so, did you like them? Let me know. Thanks

polyester fiber fill is cheaper. can get a bag at walmart that will do hundreds of sets. The down side is packrats will pull it out sometimes.

I tried them for a year and I personally didn’t like them and then I just went to wax paper/ screens or poly fill

Didn't like the underalls. Had problems with them being too stiff and freezing. Fox prints on the pan/dirt told the story. Even with waxed dirt I gave up on them and went back to polyfill and screen

Regular foam will absorb water like a sponge and freeze like an ice cube when you get those conditions. Ask me how I know.? Steady rain and dropping temps will give you the perfect storm. No trap will fire when those conditions come together.

I’m cheap. Decided when I was trying to catch predators that I was too cheap to pay 60-cents each. Soon after I switched to fiberfill. Eventually I adopted Jagger’s pipe dream set with stiff pan covers and grass, and never looked back.
