Did see one bruiser we have several good bucks on several different cameras so there’s bucks around and some bigger ones then we often see around here so no shortage of deer this year so far. We are set up for the first half of November season leading up to rifle season.

Rub lines with multiple rubbed saplings indicate travel direction, and also usually more than one buck. If saplings are rubbed on both sides deer are passing through in both directions. Kind of light canines marking a boundary.

I consider rubs lines better opportunity for taking a buck.

I’ve seen different bucks use the same rubs for sure. I walked in a half mile to one of my stands this morning not one rub stood out multiple stands on this property but nothing so far. I’m hunting 2 other locations and no rubs there either.

I’ll be back in a few week I expect it to be ripped up by then like usual. Sounds like they weaned calves recently and moved cows around at the neighbors so that should move some deer around.
