There were acres of Orville Redenbacher popcorn planted around my farm until a couple days ago when it was combined.

That is very often Sunday supper Ness. On the stove top, a little canola oil, then real butter and salt. Occasionally I add some Lawrey's seasoning for a change up. White "Snappy" brand is my favorite. Smaller hulls are better for my diverticulitis, lol.

Have a patch of ground to from some on Nessy?

You'll get 2 maybe 3 ears to a stalk. More than enough!

Plant them in a square instead of a single row if ya can, pollinate better

I expect you can just plant some of the kernels your using to pop now...

Nothing eats popcorn, so you don't need to worry about, squirrels, coon, or deer eating it up like they do other types of corn.

Pheasants love popcorn! There is some grown around here and a lot of the pheasants I shoot have craws full of popcorn.

No pheasants or quail here anymore. Used to have bobwhite quail.

I worked at à Farmers Coop for 6 years. Had fresh pop-corn in the lobby all day every day. I dont care to ever eat it again.

I do, or did, till I had my teeth pulled. I liked to take the stuff and make a pot full when I go Hunting, Fishing or anything.

I think my boys could eat their weight in popcorn. We do it in a pan or our popcorn popping machine, they don’t care much for microwaving it, except in a pinch.

I’ll eat it every once in a while. Broke a tooth eating it once while on a trip to Ft. Drum in NY and wouldn’t touch it for the longest time after that.

Might add some to the garden next year. They boys will like that.

I know you can’t plant it the same time as seeet corn, so need to figure out the schedule. Don’t want cross pollination.
