Whenever I wanted search a specific topic on trapperman, I enter a Google search like “trapperman best beaver lure” or “Trapperman skinning machine” and the top result on Google would show some threads from Trapperman on the subject. Now, it doesn’t show the website at all. If I search just “trapperman” then the website appears, but not if I add any specific words.

If I use Bing, it still works the same way google has. Simply type “trapperman” and add whatever topic you want search, and the top results are links to different threads to whatever topic you want.

I wonder what has changed.

It's been like that for a few weeks at least and started together with the emails/notifications issue. The results disappeared gradually. Looks like google stopped indexing this site.

Duckduckgo.com doesn't seem to have this problem. You can type site:trapperman.com in the search box and then whatever you are looking for.

However, our Russian search engine yields some results but with a remark "the owner of the website chose to hide the page description", meaning the problem could be in the website settings and its visibility to search spiders in particular. Something the admins could look into.

One more reason why I dropped a Google as my search engine on all my devices years ago. I primarily use DuckDuckGo now.

unfortunately thats gone, at least temporarily. cant afford godaddy right now. when i get time ill try to get some going again but it been that search has been lacking lately because its a google search.

I went to google on my custom search account and tested there and its not pulling up any results.

There use to be a big big study they had done on seatbelts/ airbags and how the manipulated the numbers and the warnings it was very interesting to say the least but it disappeared, now all you read is yuppy sheet. I won't where a seatbelt unless I'm forced to.

It’s just another tool liberals use to lead the ignorant masses around by their noses.

That's not the problem.. if you try to search the forum through google, nothing shows up.

I guess it won't effect me, because I never even knew it was a thing. lol

I won't be complaining that everything we say here isn't indexed for the world to search.

we should still be carful what we say but it is a little less out there to be searched this way.

Yep, full search results for Trapperman posts still appearing on the Duck (DuckDuckGo).

They do have a bias though. I may be looking for something I saw on Fox News and their search results will omit it. They send out an occasional survey and I complain.

They're why I never jumped on that bandwagon. We can't have nice things
