Guys, I’ve seen it mentioned a few times about using catfish food for coon bait,, does anyone add anything to it or is there enough attraction in it as is?

We have used that floating fish food a couple of times, my son used in his dp, because my dad bought a big bag to make dough bait for fishing, and by itself we didnt do to great. But we had a couple pack of cherry kool-aid we places it in a plastic container and added the powder and gave it a few shake to coat the feed we do have more success, not sure if I would say that's my go to bait though.

Ive used it and it works but not the best out there especially if nothing is added to it.

JMO, but any dry kibble will work particularly if enchanced with something fragrant. Range cubes and sweet feed will work in a pinch.

Not the most high percentage but it's cheap and can get them nibbling and not thinking.

I've used it for years. Some years are better than others. Usually have feed grade molasses for a trailing scent to go with it.
