My youngest daughter sent me this picture yesterday. She finally got enough of a break from nursing school and two part-time jobs to get out and do some squirrel hunting.

She got her limit.

They are dressed and in the freezer. Looks like I’ll be making the squirrel with mushroom gravy over rice dish when I get back from camp.

Elsmasho, I couldn’t figure that out either so I texted her just now to ask. She said it’s part of a deer dragging strap that she got for Christmas.

Yep, all but archery and late muzzleloader ya need orange. This will make ya wonder who writes the laws..........

If you're A squirrel hunter, you need orange but if you're an archery hunter you don't. That means, if you're the squirrel hunter shooting a 22 up into the trees you need orange on, but if you're archery hunting you can sit up in a tree camouflaged up during the sane day.

Yes, it is. It’s the only one of my half dozen 22s that shoots CCI Stingers with accuracy. It’s our goto squirrel rifle.
