crazy , wait up there, and many states have already started down here, guess we have to wait Most of Alaska’s seasons are still based on primeness of the fur. Much of Alaska trapping also has to wait for freeze up and snow to get around.

Okay note to self AGAIN. Take the catches off the springs. Found one of my traps triggered and knocked over, but the springs didn't go off because I forgot. Hopefully once is enough times to refresh my memory. That happens quite often when setting conibears! I use a jaw safety tool when setting conibears, when I remove the jaw safety, I release to catches on the springs at the same time. It helps me remember.

He has been shot at three different times by me alone! And I still miss! Perhaps he’s meant to be a charm! Maybe leave that one be! Yup!! I would

crazy , wait up there, and many states have already started down here, guess we have to wait Marten and Lynx are a mainstay here. Both tend to not be very prime until Nov. first. Lower 48 states just want numbers reduced/controlled, so they open seasons too early for quality fur. But this does reduce populations if a state opens earlier than when the fur is totally prime. I've spoken with terrestrial biologists who pretty much confirm this, it's about controlling population or providing "opportunity".
