Much of Alaska trapping also has to wait for freeze up and snow to get around. Who is John Galt?

FishingHoleFind trapper Joined: Jan 2025 Alaska	Okay note to self AGAIN. Take the catches off the springs. Found one of my traps triggered and knocked over, but the springs didn't go off because I forgot. Hopefully once is enough times to refresh my memory.

I use a jaw safety tool when setting conibears, when I remove the jaw safety, I release to catches on the springs at the same time. It helps me remember.
