I bought a 2014 Arctic Cat Prowler. The 700 EFI. Good running machine and having had an Arctic Cat 650 TRV I bought new in 2006, and had zero problems with, I was happy to find this machine at a good price.

My issue is the noise in the cab. My gosh it’s loud. I’ve flown in helicopters that weren’t that loud. Is there any way to mitigate the noise in the cab.

I bought the machine to run my trapline because my wife cannot be left alone so she goes with me each day but the volume in the cab makes it impossible to hear anything else.

Rhino line the inside, floor wells.

Well, engine is under the seat isn't it, lol. Not sure my idea would help.
I would think maybe lining the area between the engine and cab area.
Somehow a sound barrier under the seat.

That was my thought. But I wanted to see if anyone had come up with a sure fire way to dampen the noise.

I've been in a number of SxS's and they are all loud. I bought a Yamaha Wolverine 850 because it is supposed to be fairly quiet. It is pretty quiet on the outside but darn loud in the cab, especially with front and back windshields. I don't think there is much to be done about it with half the engine in there with you.

Use thin silver lined bubble wrap, like the kind used to wrap duct work. Place it under the seat, and in the back wall. Also seal any cracks you find. My Polaris is loud inside the cab, but doing like I previously mentioned made it much quieter. Eric

I’ll try that. I have a roll of that in my shed.

The only thing thing I found that really worked was get new one. I went through it with my older sxs's but the new northstar ultimate you can actually carry a conversation normally while driving around.

Always loud. When I’m driving alone or when there’s me, her and the dog.

True, but ear plugs don’t help in cab conversations much.

Intercom with noise canceling headsets like you have in airplanes. We wear foam earplugs on long rides and can still talk in a Yamaha rhino that is open and loud, also in our ranger. The ranger is enclosed and not as loud as the rhino.
