Add a double ferrule to your triggah wires..

It adds more strength and keeps them from breaking to soon.

AND ALSO ...notice the brass nut and bolt !!!!

Always use brass Haahdware ...when changing out broken triggah wires

Brass doesn't rust and is easy to take apart.

Very effective trigger positioning, also. My wolverine sets have that straight wire about an inch away from the parallel jaw bar.

Do you have a specific size ferrule that fit best? I am interested in tying the two wires further down. Makes sense, mechanically.

Is rusting the same as oxidizing?

I tried this on a few 160s and for some reason the trigger wires got caught and prevented the trap from fully closing,, I had it happen twice,,, not sure if it’s just that it’s different on different traps or i maybe I simply didn’t have the ferral in the right spot.
