Saw this over on the aquaponics thread on Reddit. Always read that duck water could be some kinda good fertilizer, even better then the fish water in a normal system. This guy's just took it all the way there lol. Solar powder pump from his lil duck pond to a swirl filter and grow bed that will clean and filter the water and give the plants all the goodness then back into to pond for the ducks ....pretty dang smart. Had a buddy wanting to do something like this for a lil our door turtle enclosure for her but the only hand up is the solar power...panels batteries and all that lol

I pour the dirty water from the water bowls from the quail, pigeons and doves at the base of potted plants, mostly trees and bushes. To much will fry the plants. Apricot trees don't take manure water well. Elderberry loves it. Amorphophallus konjac thrives on manure.

LOL.

False penis is a funny name for a genus of plants. Konjac gets the third largest inflorescence. You can see where the genus gets it's name. Just the flower, without the stem can be 6' high by 3' wide. The flower spike can grow as much as 35" an hour and be 28F warmer than the outside temperature.

The largest flower in the world by height is Amorphophallus titanum, which roughly translates from Latin as gigantic false penis. Just the flower, without the stem, can be 12' tall.

Instead on fish you’re using ducks makes sense, nice thing about duck versus fish you don’t need to worry about the condition of the water so much.
